I purchased a chair from the Salvation Army. It was a lovely chair, but desperately needed new upholstery and the wood was beat up. Monica cleaned up the wood and re-upholstered the chair with a lovely floral pattern fabric. It has now become my favorite piece of furniture in the house. And it is definitely something to pass down to my children, and their children. Thank you, Monica, for the new heirloom for my family. We love it!!!

We love Monday Wash! We are so impressed and happy with our chaise! Monica was a pleasure to work with! When we came to her for help furnishing our new family room, we had no idea what we were even looking for! She has a keen eye for trendy and unique décor and was able to suggest accent seating that would tie the room together perfectly! She even added a hidden pocket to the chaise backing so that my mother could hide her trinkets while reading. She took the beauty of an antique and gave it all the comforts AND looks of a brand new piece! It has turned into the most desired spot in the room! We went straight to her when we started looking for stools after our basement remodel!

We left a pair of vintage chairs with Monday Wash for updated reupholstering, and the finished product exceeded our hopes and expectations. The fireside chairs, a family favourite handed down from our grandparents, were a green velvet, biscuit-tufted covering. From beginning to end, Monday Wash took such care with these heirlooms. Our ideas were honoured, with very helpful suggestions regarding how new fabric would complement the decor and furniture in the same room. Vision is important, and this was backed with the talent needed to restore the tufting, which only enhanced the pattern we chose. Following through with these ideas would have been enough to leave us satisfied with the restoration -- but Monica at Monday Wash went a step further. Her creative eye added a fun twist to the back of the chairs, and her craftsmanship strengthened the frame and support of the chairs. The chairs are classy, creative and very comfortable. We are thrilled with them and how they brighten our space. They are our new favourite chairs, and we find ourselves sitting in our front room even more than before.
